“ I learned a lot from a very good friend of our family and worldwide Fashion Icon, Georgio Armani, and he also taught me: „Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.“
What do you like the most about your job?
Samira Samii: To me my job is the most exciting job in the world. I work with international people from different cultures and traditions. Many of them are well-known stars and global celebrities. Soccer is an emotional game and when your heart is beating for your team there are no differences between rich and poor, background or education. These emotions are fascinating to me every day and I love to show the world that also women can be successful soccer managers.
You work as a sports manager and yet you are highly fashionable. Who is your style icon?
Samira Samii: I don’t have any style icon. I have my own style. For my style comes from inside and from knowing who I am. Style doesn’t come from wanting to be somebody else. My style motto is elegant chic and when I dress like this I feel comfortable. It gives me and my surroundings a positive energy.
What fashion means to you?
Samira Samii: To me Fashion is about expressing my identity by using my lovely clothes to tell the world something about me. Fashion is my passion and my attitude. Fashion gives me the possibility to express myself through my emotions and my interests.
Do you have a preferred designer?
Samira Samii: I wear many luxury labels like Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes and Oscar De La Renta. But I prefer Chanel and Prada because they have my size XS and I love their style with pure elegance and monochrome designs.
What trends you wish would never come back?
Samira Samii: Platform Sneakers, Pants On The Ground and Socks with Heels. This is another trend I will never and don’t want to understand. Wearing socks with high heels cancels out the sexiness of the high heel.
What can’t leave your home without?
Samira Samii: I can’t leave the house without makeup, perfume, keys, iPhone and my credit cards sure my ID-Card.
What is your signature look?
Samira Samii: My signature look is almost every day real High Heels, elegant dresses for day and night, a Hermes bag for the day and a clutch for night.
What’s the 1st thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Samira Samii: The first thing I do when I wake up, after I visit the bathroom, is brew my cappuccino. The next thing I do is my Sit-Up exercise than I turn on my iPhone.
What is your skincare routine? Do you have a favourite product or products?
Samira Samii: I am ambassador of „Beautylinestore“ in Germany. They have just luxury products for Skin. I use Cell Premium No.1.
Cell Premium is „Top of Swiss Skincare“ products. I use the whole product line: Tonic, Cleanser and Eye Cream. Every skin needs special attention and care.
Tell us your skincare secrets:
Samira Samii: I don’t drink alcohol and don’t smoke. I do sports, eat healthy and of course, I drink around 2-3 liters of water a day.
What are your favourite make-up products this season?
Samira Samii: This season my favourite make-up is Horst Kirchberger and Tom Ford.
What are the places you keep coming back for?
Samira Samii: I always keep coming back to St. Tropez for my summer holidays. This is my second home and I love French lifestyle, fashion, architecture and food at the Cote d’Azur.
What is the best spa in Germany or anywhere in the world?
Samira Samii: In Germany my favourite is definitely „Schloss Elmau“ and in the world I like most „La Reserve“ Geneve, Switzerland
What is your message to our Swiss readers about Fashion and Beauty?
Samira Samii: Beauty begins when you decide to be yourself. I think there is beauty in every woman. Beauty has nothing to do with looks. It is how you are as a person and how others feel about you. In a world full of trends only the classics will survive forever.
Every lady needs 3 classics 1. Right shoes, because then your body sways to a different kind of tempo 2. Little black dress makes you always classy and fabulous 3. Always smile, fashion is happiness.
